in case the hall wasn't messy enough, the men decided to add a ladder,
a cupboard, machinery, and of course--their clothes! |

THE LADDER
Now the men have rigged up a ladder around my windows so they can put all the necessary new pipes up outside the building. So even when we think they're gone, they're not. They're just right outside the window! =)

| One
end comes out of the shower room window and goes back into the toilet
room window so that it can be tied securely. |
The
other end hangs down the side of the building. On the right side
of the ladder you can see part of the new pipe they are putting up--it
needs to make it all the way to the 4th floor! (There are now one
or two other new pipes on the left side of the ladder, also working on
making their way up.) |
One
man is on the ladder, while one or two more are on the ground shouting
instructions. Sometimes, if I'm really lucky, some of them will
also come up to my flat and yell instructions from the bathroom windows! |
